Hey everyone,

So I decided to put this topic is a new thread alltogether.

Since I bought my Canon 5D I have been browsing through the "Custom Settings", but there does not seem to be that much for me. I did try the extended IS0 settings for indoor shots once.
For that one I was wondering why that was a custom setting?

Anyway, many of the settings have to do with AE which I don't use.... others I am maybe not to sure how to use?

How did everybody set their custom settings? In what situations arte they useful for you?

My 5D has the following settings set to 1:

08, 13 & 16

The 1D3 has a lot more settings and is more user configured than my 5D. They are just there to allow Photographers to tweak the camera to a certain way that they are used to working. I think it is great to have the choice available.

My Picture settings are set to:

Neutral with +2 Contrast, +1 Saturation and +4 Sharpness.
