I just received my new 2x telecon from Hong Kong. Looking forward to trying it on the bus this afternoon. This one won't have the distortion that my old Vivitar has.
Hmmm... I hate to say it, but I quite enjoyed the distortions of the old one. Hopefully it still comes out from time to time.
Good luck with the new one, though -- I'm about to get my teleconverter on myself. I already have my eclipse-watching spot picked out.
We had a good view of the eclipse here but it was too damn cold to go out and see it. I just watched a movie.
