I have a Sigma 70 -300. For it's low price it has, (notice past tense), been good.
Unfortuanately, it's gorn an' busted. The AF went TWANG! And now it's manual only!!

Rats.

Hey my Sigma 70-210 UCII did the same thing... heheh manual focus only now
