Ok, I called in sick today when I saw how nice it is outside and went for a walk in the forest, (still lots of snow) also met these guys.
A Nuthatch, Woodpecker and a Robin.

Lovely shots - particularly #1.
Very close and detailed - lovely indeed. All three of them.
For me, it is always very difficult to get close enough to the birds in the forest. The forest birds seem to have a larger flight distance, they fly away already long before I'm in shooting range. Our garden birds are more accustomed to people, I think. Maybe it's my approach - in the forest I go walking, while in the garden I'm mostly lurking.
Lovely! 3 has something special IMO.
