Hi!

The weather we have here is well suited for underwater equipment, but I haven't got any. The manual of my new D70 states clearly I shouldn't have it out in the rain. What do you experienced guys do to protect your camera when you shoot in the rain? Do you do it at all? I've seen quite a few pictures I'd like very much to take, but I'm afraid my camera will suffer...

Is there something like a waterproof bag for cameras that you can screw on the lens like a filter? If not maybe I can invent one and make big $! Smile
I've heard of people just cutting a hole in a plastic bag and sticking the lens portion out of it.

Never really tried it myself... I've taken photos in drizzly conditions but made sure to keep exposure to rain to a bare minimum and to wipe it down thoroughly after...
Hmm, I found something via Google, it's here: Kata E-702 at B&H.

Do any of you use something like this?
I think I will develop your idea with the bag =P haha
NAh ... ive already seed the waterproof bag idea ...
i forgot where i saw it though ..

Looked dodgy ..but supposedly it worked..cant remember where i saw it though ..
