Hey folx,

I'm just wondering if any of you have any idea of someone that sells a small LCD screen somewhere around 3-6 inches that has a video input.

I've seen heaps of ones like the Casio TV's but it doesn't need to have a tuner, preferably the flatter and less area around the screen the better.

Hoping you lot of geniuses can help.

J
What are you going to use it for? Smile

Reviewing images on the move, I don't find the clarity of the tiny LCD's to be good enough even when zoomed in.
Studio check out this one from epson then - http://portablevideo.engadget.com/entry/...776698522/

Good idea... but if you can try it out first - the resolution might be less... image may be bigger, but not necessarily sharper...
what u need is a portable plasma screen! ~_~
would be nice to have a portable sceen .. but betteries will always be an issue ...
So we're looking for a smallish HDTV plasma screen that preferably runs on batteries? I'll, um, keep my eyes open...
Why not get a laptop and shoot tethered?
I have a laptop, two in fact, the only problem with that is that using the USB cable is slow as a wet week and absolutely no use on location.

I need someone to perform surgery for me and install those new Casio displays. The new Leaf Valeo sends its data wirelessly to a modified HP iPaq, maybe I could get a modified card reader with a wifi attachment and send it across to one of them.. ok now its getting silly Smile
In all seriousness though, Casio has a good range of portable TV. This one has a 4" TFT display and comes with a little stand - and a video in jack!
Is there a way of connecting to a pda?
I wouldn't think so, unless perhaps you used a tv tuner CF module with video in...

or there was some way of talking via wireless to the PDA, like with the Leaf Creo cams...
There are Such things as Wireless SDIO and CF cards.. but the problem is that the camera wouldnt support it ...
Thought I's perform some CPR on this thread to rvive it... Wink

Thanks to ST's PDA with HDD post, I happened upon this gadget...

Looks interesting Cailean, not much use to us down here though I'd say we're too spread out for broadcasts like that.

It doesn't have a video input though!
Hmmm, true on both counts.... I suppose it helps if I re-read thread before resurrecting it!
