Just off the A46 between Nailsworth and Bath, maybe 7 miles or so from Castle Zig; 350D with 70-200 f.4L(IS), handheld at around 90mm, where it even pips my Tamron 90mm macro at f.11(the Tamron still just about snaffles it at f.5.6, I have to say, but this L zoom is so useful because of the IS). FF will be fun!!
Anyway...I converted the raw to a 16-bit tif, boosted sturation to help with the mono tones later.
I contrast-masked then converted to mono, simulating Ilford PanF 50 with a red filter in Power Retouche.
I dodged and burned a bit before downsampling to 8-bit tif and layering in some diffusion, finally saving to jpeg.
The image is uncropped.

Nice!
Lots of lines leading all over--and some cool textures.
I'm really struck by the way the clouds match the power pole. It's an interesting photo.
Many thanks chaps.

Out of interest, this is 100% crop after processing;details has gone a bit because of the process I used but perhaps it conveys textures a bit more...
