We don't get much snow in Vancouver, but when it comes, it comes down hard - close to 3 feet of snow in the last week. Anyway, its going to be a white Christmas here after all...

It's icy too...

Love the second shot... time to break out the shovel!
Here in the UK, the whole country goes to pot if we get 2mm of snow.
The younger people are here, the less snow they've seen.
One girl I work with complained of walking home in a "blizzard." As far as I knew, (and we only live 2 miles apart), it hadnt snowed at all! Big Grin

Ho hum.

Happy Christmas! Smile

Yep, you've certainly got what looks like a 'more-than-slight' covering of snow and ice over there! :o

You made the front page on the BBC world news website.

Stay warm, stay safe and have a very happy Christmas.

Amazing stuff - it is 28 C here in Perth.
Someone told me that this was the first time (in X years, I suppose) that there was a white Christmas all across Canada. We had plenty of snow, but it's rained a lot and been warm since then, so all that's left are those sooty mounds of ice from the roads. It's not pretty any more.
