Woocool!
I saw this near the belltower when I went there for sunrise yesterday morning.
Is it a temporary or permanent installment?
good to see that you got some shots of it! It'slike a big flower!

I never noticed that (such an unobservant fool I am
)
I think it is permanent, I seem to remember someone on the news talking about it when the singapore flyer got stuck, saying it is permanent...
I wanted to go just south of the narrows and do a pano on NY sunrise, but I was asleep

I only noticed it about a week ago. I think it went up pretty quickly.
I read somewhere (ABC website or something I think) that it will be up and running for about 2 years. It's basically a long-term temporary thing until the foreshore development gets into full-swing and then they'll take it down. I think it will cost $15 per 15-minute ride.
Nice pics. I particularly like #2.

Number 2 is the best shot - I also heard it was a long term temporary thing.
