So it seems that the PM system does still work.
But a bunch of us got phantom email alerts for non-existant messages?
Either that or perhaps we all got spammed and the messages got deleted but the alerts still went out.

Oh well.. I'm sure Jules will sort it out.

I got an email saying I had a private message then I had trouble logging in. Finally got logged in only to find no private message. ????

Yeah, i had the same thing too.

For what it's worth, the e-mail that I got was linking to the /phpBB2/ site, and was sent at 6:20pm (my time) yesterday.

Hey guys, matthew is onto something - they were from the test boards I set up a while back. Looks like someone stumbled upon them and were sending messages to everyone (most likely spam).

Just ignore them - I've removed the test boards - so hopefully you won't see any more!

I see that the messages were being sent by the department of irony...

I also received it.
