I bought a Digital Blue Microscope at Blacks Cameras for $50 today. It's a toy with many limitations but it can make some interesting pictures at maginfications of 10x. 60x, or 200x (so far I haven't been able to do much with the 200x--lighting is a problem). I just played with a little with the following results.

How closely do the images compare to what you actually see with your eye through the microscope?

I cnat seee through the microscope. There is a digital camera (not hi res ) permanently mounted on top.
