We had a trip there on Thursday and a special guided tour. Photo's not normally allowed but I am very persuasive.


The Castle from the Gardens


The small swords in the wheels are for footsoldiers, and the larger ones (RH side) are for the cavalry.
Some of the paintings are by Thomas Gainsborough.



One of the many rooms inside. This is for the Ladies, when the Gents retired to their port and gin rooms after Dinner. (Rather what!)

The inside photos are so nice. I loved the light and shadow of the second one and the last one yes, the colour hits! Wonderful,
