Colour Changing - johnytrout - Nov 30, 2013

I took the liberty of using James Tate's photo to show you how to change an everyday sunny landscape photo into a cold and frosty one with just a few clicks.
I use an image program called Paint Shop Pro.
There is a tool called a "Colour Changer"
I put the settings to "Tolerance 2, Edge Softness 20" and changed the colour to white. I then went around the picture just clicking on different shades of green.

I think the trees look a bit unnatural, but the grass is spot on! Nice trick overall Smile

I agree, and yes, a very nice trick!

having said that, I still prefer the original

Me too, after all, the photo was taken with the original in mind... Smile
