finepix bridge camera - shepp1 - May 18, 2014

I have 2 identical finepix S1730 bridge cameras.
One works extremely well using 4xAA Kodak alkaline batteries and seem to last forever.
The other one completely drains the batteries in about 2 days, even when switched off.
Ok wrong batteries you might say, but why then is the other identical camera working perfectly well all the time with them?

Apparantly drawing power at a high rate, evev when off. Ask your dealer to check the Quiescent Power Consumption. Ed.
