Nikon lens Canon body... for video? Need advise. - shuttercloud - Sep 17, 2014

Not really thinking of switching (actually planning to get an ILC) but if I really wanted to shoot DSLR video using a Canon DLSR and use Nikon lenses, would this affect quality in any way compared to if I get Canon lenses too? What problems will I encounter if any?

I know when you use adapers for stills it adds to the stops and magnification.

I'm still fond of Nikon's user-friendly one-hand-able access buttons for stills, but for video, I'm thinking of getting a Canon body, a lens adapter, and just use Nikon lenses.
