Building a trip to Iceland - randybk - Jan 19, 2015

I am in the process of putting together a trip to Iceland in March 20-30th. I am sure some one has been there before...I would love to hear from you! Either through the forum, private message or email.
This is the gear that I own....
Sony A65
Minolta 50mm 1.7
Minolta 35-70mm f4
Minolta 35-105mm f3.5-4.5
Minolta 80-200mm f2.8 APO
Sony 11-18 f4.5-5.6
Sony 16-50 f2.8
I also have a beercan but it is retired in my closet with a fungi growth, any ideas on that?

Can you tell us what it is you would like to know? Kind of difficult to respond without knowing.

Been there a long time ago, it's a good trip. Lots of photo ops.
Took Icelandic air and stayed at there hotel and got a great discount. Great buffet (or was).

I have a Sony A100 and an A58 with many Sony & Minolta lens.

I would like to know if there are places to avoid/must see. Any neat "tricks" to keep condensation at bay.
There is a full/no moon on the week of the March 20th if mother nature complies and gives clear skies that will give 2 very different skies to work with.
Any and all information is welcome.

Take a walk up to the Perlan for a good lunchtime snack.

To all that replied..thank you. I have been told that I have "incarcerated Hernia" (sounds like I should be in jail!)with surgery on on Feb 19. So I will not be going anywhere to quickly. Funny how the cards get dealt to you. Well at least I will have plenty of time to clean my gear, and get ready for the next adventure. Again Thank You all....
