Tilt and shift lenses - Eddy Canon - Mar 12, 2017

Thinking about purchasing a tilt and shift lens, does any one have any experience using one, or for that matter does anyone have an opinion on the best focal length for landscapes and architecture?

Cheers Eddy

Depends on the size of the sensor in the camera you are using.
I don't use a tilt & shift for landscapes. Just some occasional architecture (interiors) but mostly I use it for product shots, mainly food. I use the PC-E Micro NIKKOR 45mm f/2.8D ED on a Nikon D610.

If you use a crop sensor camera you may prefer a shorter focal length.

Thanks Graham I have both full and crop sensors, so thinking aloud a 24 could possible be the answer 24 on full and 37ish on a crop.
