I buy all my batteries from Sterling Tek, http://www.sterlingtek.com, not sure if they will work out cheaper with shipping to Oz, but they are about 20% the cost of a genuine canon and last around 25% longer.

I second Sterlingtek, I bought 2 batteries for my 350D through their ebay store for $47.00 AUD delivered and postage only took about 5 working days.

Hi. I bought my spare, from www.picstop.co.uk. cost £9.90+ carriage. It works as well if not better than the Canon one. Can't say about delivery to Oz, though mine was del. within two days.
