dslr same pricerange superzooms d50 versus 1st dl & reviews -

after researching the s9000
almost every other review mentioned dslr was better
i find the price of the d50 and 1st dl in the same range
however which one is preferable
what do you think?????????????

Hey automaton... I personally got the D50, but I must admit that I was comparing it to the Canon 350D and the Minolta 5D. I'm pretty glad I didn't go minolta, as they've now disappeared.
My decision was influenced by the fast operation (fast!), low noise levels and price... and so far I've not been disappointed!
I hadn't considered the DL, probably because I think it's a bit too cut down in terms of functionality.
