Itsy Bitsy
#1

I took several shots of this tiny spider (about 5mm). He was happy to sit on a piece of white paper on my table before I let him go in the garden. I was taken with my Pentax DS, two stacked teleconverters and an older sigma 28-80 lens with a macro setting (on board flash only...)

I processed these two similar shots a bit differently and I would love some feedback about which you prefer. The shots were fairly soft due to low light and it was difficult to get a nice level of contrast (I think I took it too far..)

Thanks for looking. Tell me what you think. Feel free to play with different processing...

The first one is more realistic, but both are good, showing the eyes.
Now if you will excuse me I must fly.Smile

Thanks for the comments - I think I prefer the composition of the second shot but I'm not happy with grey backgound...
