Sorry, I had a few private complaints about the thread being incoherent and "scary" as one person put it. My apologies as well for not notifying you immediately - I will try to do so in future.
I definitely agree with the principles that you've suggested - i.e. test teachings of men vs. what the bible teaches, use discernment, and not accept everything blindly at face value.
