Divided loyalties
#2

Well, I was not interested too much in Spain way of playing really, and I didn't see Spain games in the first round. I only paid attention to the team when they played against Italy, I wanted Italy to win, btw. However, in the first half of that game I already wanted Spain to win... I just loved the way they played. And also because I saw lots of mistakes from the referee to favored Italy. Did you see how bad he was? it was a German referee....

It was also beautiful to hear the Spanish crowd sing Cielito lindo (Mexican song) to encourage the team!!

Germany started in the first round playing hot potato with the ball, mainly. I didn't like that. They improved along the championship, but you couldn't see any real strategy and formation. They missed a lot, I never thought they will be in the final game. Ballack was, as we commented yesterday at home, overrated... you didn't see him playing a lot, playing as he used to before he was famous. to me he was very conservative, and careful, possibly not to get hurt.

Yesterday my heart was with Spain, but not because me being Mexican but because the team was fantastic, and they play really wonderful along the whole championship. You could see a clean formanion, concentrated playes, and they are so young. I also love the testimonial of the Trainer, that tells that old people not always are obsolet and don't work anymore, the oldest trainer and see where he ended up... Smile

I am very pleased with the final result.
