I'm looking at the websites now.
Tried again today at King's park
It seems that either I expose the sky correctly and have the land underexposed or expose the land (trees, ground, grass, everything) correctly and have sky overexposed, but can't have both at once - then as suggested by lemangoholic, to use a graduated ND filter, which I haven't tried yet, but will soon
