New Bass DayTongue

I almost bought a new 30mm F2.8 macro lens with my own cash plus a few birthday donations I recently received, but a new bass was more interesting to me.
As a project.
The decision was made after 4 extra days of consideration.

There are a few modifications in the near future, but it's a great bass.
And she's the 4-string sister of the 8-string (octaves) I bought last year.

Maybe the lens will go on sale again around Christmas?
I think I would like to start using it before then.

I wish!
OLP's aren't seen much in this part of the world.

Yes.

The lens is a mass-produced known quantity that can be expected to perform within a certain range of quality, whether I do my part or not.
I can wait for it.

On the other hand, my new bass is made of wood.
