Lexar Announces 256GB CompactFlash card
#1

Pretty amazing that Lexar have announced a 256GB compactflash card! Now you could potentially have more storage space in your camera than in my macbook pro... Big Grin Assuming that your camera supports it, I suppose.

Only downside - it costs half a grand... Big Grin

200 megapixel = 600mb RAW file sizes. You'll be able to store about 400 shots on there. Not bad! Big Grin

Hmmm...and if one of those babies decides to corrupt after you've done several holidays' worth of shooting on it, it'll be one heck of a weeping and gnashing of teeth...
