The SVP DM540 Microscopic Camera
#1

I recently purchased one of these through E-Bay for $50. Potentially it could be a great tool. Using it takes a little practice. It's hard to keep the camera from moving when you press the small "capture" button, especially at higher magnifications. Keeping the camera steady will take some ingenuity. There is a lot of distortion at magnifications above 100x.

A couple of sample shots are below:

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Thanks Barbara. The ads for this make ridiculous claims. But it is a fun toy.
