Sounds like an exotic fruit punch! Big Grin

Haven't really thought about it... guess I'm preoccupied with more present concerns...

God has placed me on earth to accomplish certain things.
Right now, I am so far behind that I will never die.

As long as I get there in the end, I don't really care when I go... Smile

I've never heard of 'Pre-Trib Rapture' either, so I did a quick google and came up with one 'for' article and one 'against'. I wouldn't consider either of these as completely reliable since they're essentially private websites, but you'll get the idea....

For: http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/pre-trib.htm

Against: http://www.lookup.org/Pretrib.htm

Cail, these are great, but I feel they both disprove the PTR. :/

No, I dont think so. Unless, that is, someone tries to teach you that you need n't prepare for diificulties because you'll be "spirited away".
That's what PTR teaches, and it's wrong. Wrong and dangerous. IMHO of course.
YMMV

Hey, you're right... I hadn't really read them closely... (still haven't!!) The titles suggested that they were opposing views.... my bad.

I personally don't make decisions about how to live my life based on the possible outcomes and/or consequences (tribulations or otherwise). I try (and often fail) to do what I believe to be the right thing. 'Right' defined here as conforming to all those red words inthe Bible.

I've heard many a debate and out and out fights about this subject. I came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter. Since its not exactly clear cut in favor of or against, I'll just take Jesus advice to watch for the signs and live each day like this could be the day He comes. You really can't lose and the argument becomes pointless.

The way I see it life is hard wether you live it evil or good.If you have a real passion to live for Christ you'll be going in the right direction. Only He knows the intentions of your heart.
If your living your life counting each and every action as if it meant the difference between heaven or hell... well thats just plain impossible. Thats why Christ died for us.

Well after reading through this thread, I notice a couple of things I would like to mention

1] "A righteous man will fail 7 times" that is written in the book of proverbs,, which means in my opinion

7 is the number of completness........A righeous man will fail COMPLETLY.

but he will get up and repent, ... again!

2] Jesus said ( concerning His second coming)..............."He that hath this hope, purifieth himself"

Therefore,, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, Ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In other words.. Don't worry about it.. THE Sadduces and Pharasies had the bible (OT) practically memorized, yet when the Lord stood in front of them.. THEY WERE BLIND to the truth of the WORD.

IN THIS DAY AND AGE.. "we have it all figured out"............

but I know EXACTLY when Jesus is coming......... ALL THE CLUES are in the bible.

Jesus did say,, No man knoweth the exact day & hour of His return.. NOT HIM, NOT THE ANGELS

BUT ONLY our Father,.. Well, when you put ALL the clues together... Remember what Paul said??

of the times & seasons: be not ignorant ??

I know EXACTLY WHEN Jesus is coming.............He said so.....

a. When you least expect it

b As a theif in the night.

c. Any day now !
