As the proprietors of the Digit! Online web site, we object to the use of our identity in such a prominent and less-than-flattering fashion in your discussion forum.
We can appreciate a good joke, but your post is very misleading. We have received numerous emails and phone calls from our professional clients wondering why we are making the alleged transaction and gearing our services to amateur photographers when we have spent so much time, effort and money building our reputation among professionals. The time we spend responding to these inquiries has gotten out of hand.
We take our brand name and its association in the German photographic community very seriously, and have successfully defended our intellectual property rights in court. We are also adamant about the proper usage of the registered Digit! trademark - it is not "Dig!t." Your English typing skills appear to be nearly as poor as your German translation skills, as one of your members has discussed.
We ask that you immediately delete all references to the Digit! Online web site from this forum and any related web pages.
If you have any questions, you can email me at kunstlernym@digit.de and we can discuss the matters privately. At this time we will not be seeking monetary remuneration, and hope that your swift compliance with our request will put this unfortunate matter to an end.
Respectfully,
Hans Künstler
