Great shots, Russt! I like the lines of poles and the birds make great subject matter. Did you try zoomin in too?

Nice that you are sharing these pictures. I like very much the composition you did with the poles. All of them are beautiful! Every time I see a picture of these pelicans, I find them so perfect in form and colors. I would like to take some pictures as well, it is a pity we don't have some here....

Pelicans are just so photogenic, always doing something worth taking a shot of. Can you tell us a little about the gear you are using Russt?

Lovely pictures! They look quite busy in the second one. My favorite is #3 though, I do think you can have too much pelican in your picture.

thanks everyone for your comments.
Guerito, I agree with you about too many is too much... 3 is my pick, I think the poles made an interesting shot in themselves. Peted, my digicam is a canon PS A80.............and if things would stop breaking around the house I would love a DSLR.

The A80 looks to be a great little camera, keep shooting.

hey.. great job Russt!
I love the 3rd shot.. definately. Great angle with the posts forming a zig-zag, and the few pelicans sitting on top at different heights just looks great. The other 2 are really good too, but the 3rd is definately the pick. Adrian Broughton My Website: www.BroughtonPhoto.com.au My Blog: blog.BroughtonPhoto.com.au You can also visit me on Facebook!
