Yachts
#1

Finished class by 11am, but waited until dark to take photographs of the moon rising (yes, again), Unfortunately it was very very cloudy, but managed to get some other shots (with no moon in it)

I used a long shutter speed, and they were slightly moving in the wind with the waves, and so the masts are a little motion-blurred - something I did not really realise on the small LCD review Sad

Apart from the bit of mast blurrng Adam, I really like the colors in this shot. Very nice.

I really like #1 a lot. It is a definate postcard / framer.

#2 not quite as much - because the main subject is more blurred than the background (possibly motion blur from the long shutter speed is more noticeable in a close object) - it makes it look like the focus is wrong.

But #1 is superb

Thanks for the nice comments SmileSmile
Yes, this was at Matilda Bay right opposite uni, I went there to take photographs of the moon, but the sky was too cloudy.

I'm catching the bus to uni today, so may be able to go print Smile

As for the colours, originally the sky was more brownish, but I white balanced, selecting the boat as white, and it became this colour Smile
