Hey there,

I don't have any experience with the s9000, unfortunately. I've only had experience with a Fuji s5000 - nice operation, image quality so so (because of limitations imposed by the manufacturer), good battery life.

Can't compare to a DSLR though - bought one and haven't looked back.. Big Grin

I think the s9000 looks very attractive in terms of the zoom range...

There's almost no comparison. (They both take great pictures, that's it.) I use a Canon S400, and adore my Olympus E-1. I've never met the E-330, but know a couple of people with the E-300 (including my mother) and both love it. Oly has great lenses, an effective dust remover, and the 330 has a workable 'live' LCD.

I think the S9000 and S9500 are the same camera. I have the S9500 and absolutely love it. My previous camera was an Olympus C4000 and I enjoyed using it for most of 4 years but the two just do not compare. The Olympus in comparison produced very flat photos while the Fuji lense seems to give me images with better colour saturation. My sister has the S5500 (??) and it is also a great camera. One of my favourite features of the S9500 is the capacity for dual memory cards.
