Malmsbury
#1

Visited Malmsbury at the weekend, about 20 miles away.I must say, these feel to me a tad choc-boxy after viewing some of the recent work by Kombi et al..anyway, here's some detail from a pre-Raphaelite window in the abbey and the stonework:

They are great!!!
Why would you be shy?!? the colors in the window are amazing, it looks so alive....

and the relief is really nice to, it's not an easy thing to shoot, with shadows and contrast and all. good work

Wow, the window is great! I've taken a few shots of stained glass windows (every wedding I go to) but can never get them to come out as nice...

I like how everything is nicely proportioned and symmetrical... was it fixed PP? Big Grin

Yep Jules(I didn't have any tower scaffolding handy!) Minimised the amount of pp by standing further away from subject with tele; adjusted vertical FOV in distort/lens correction.
