Creating Frankenstein!
#1

I found this pretty cool story on the web - amazing what creativity and photoshop (+painter 7) can do...

This comes from graphic designer Larry Knox, who used some pretty low budget techniques to achieve a stunning result.

Quote:Taking a handful of small rubber bands, I began to pull them over my face so as to get a realistic gouging of the skin where the various stitching of body parts were to be digitally sutured together. I proceeded to shoot numerous photographs of myself in front of a bathroom mirror, grimacing menacingly...
Simply brilliant!

I just want to pull on one of the rubberbands and then let it go. That'll make him look angry.

Hmm.. the really complex part of the shot - the lighting and color manipulation is not really discussed (unless I missed it).
