There was a food festival at the Marina today, wandered down, was tempted with the wine tastings, naaah! didn't fancy having to walk home, and found the sideshow alley instead.
Taken with my new 85mm 1.8 11 Lense, settings ISO 100, 1/400, f/3.5, 85mm. A bit sorry I didn't buy a zoom, not quite sure about this lense.
Cheers,

Love these pictures showing the environment of a festival... lots of colors and people... do you have more pictures by any chance?
Lovely picture Pat...
Wow!! So you got the 85mm... Great!! How do you like it?
I am still thinking which of both would be best for my photography... the 85mm or 50mm... I normally use it for pictures like the apples or some portraits of Lucky so I don't have much use at the moment... Maybe just the 50mm 1.8 will do the job... I really don't know...

I have more photos of the festival but am not happy with them, with so many people about I could only get shots waist to head etc, couldn't get anything in the frame I wanted, not like a zoom, I found the 85mm quite frustrating, not sure if its me
Its on again tomorrow (Sunday) so am taking my 17-40 to see if I can do better.
Cheers,
Pat
