I wanted to try this. I just shot a photo, moved the camera a couple or inches and shot again (hand held). If you do it right with your eyes, the 3-D effect is quite pronounced. The tricky thing is getting the images the right size and not too far apart. Many stereo images are of things too far away to get a real sense of depth.
