I have had the LX5 now for around 12 months and a few months back I realised that the glass LCD screen is not glass, but actually the plastic cover of the LCD screen.
I never put a screensaver on thinking it was crystal glass, and now I have some small nicks on it. I only realised, when I was rubbing it lightly with a fingernail (thinking it was a bit of my lunch) and got the moire that you get with flexible touch screens.
My old TZ5 screen was like bulletproof glass, and I assumed this would be the same.
A bit disappointed I am now even though it does not affect the photo's. (It's even got me talking Yoda-speak. The force must have left me. )
