I've been messing around with a picture from a recent renaissance fair. Haven't finished yet but I have got pretty far... comments...
The one on the right is obviously the original.

Wow, how did you put the rope in? Just kidding...
Looks good, but I think the white patch of grass on the left looks a little bit fake, if you compare it to the grass on the right side of the people..

Actually (if this is about removing the rope), I like the rope where it was. The rope brings my eye into the photo. It contains the subject like a kind of frame. It is not distracting.
Yep, the grass on the left and the tree line need some work. I added half na inch on the left of the picture, so just mass filled that area.
Don: It was more about the chairs, chainlink and people in modern dress that were removed.
I guess my definition of "clutter" may be a bit more ruthless than some people's...

I was going to title the picture "Lend me an arrow" which is why i left the other guy there Toad

I suppose - but once I cloned out his forearm which is growing out of the archer's face, I just kept going. Because he isn't interacting with the subject of the photo - he is talking to someone else - he divides the viewer's attention - jmo.
Yeah, unfortunately my wife distracted him LOL.
Maybe put the arrow in the other hand.

That kind of makes the guy with the bow look like a twit.
