Do you subscribe to / read any photography magazines?
I used to have an Australian Camera subscription, and also read Australian Photography, but after a while stopped. I use to love the Image Doctor section, where readers would send in photos and the "doctors" would give their feedback...

I was going to subscribe to some (after receiving 'special student offers' then I went to the net to see that anyone could get those 'offers') but I wanted to see some issues first, there weren't any in the library though.
At the moment, I'm in wonder of all the pictures in the National Geographic Magazine I bought yesterday for 25 cents (THEN TODAY, I SAW EVERYTHING THEY COULDNT SELL IN BIG BINS! AND PEOPLE CROWDING AROUND GETTING FREE STUFF!!! BUT IT WAS RAINING!! HAHAHA)

I thought [capture] was pretty interesting too because it targeted commercial photography and you got to see the work of pro photographers, and also some of them discuss how they set up and take their photos...

I've stopped buying them as well actually. I borrow them from the library instead. I figure that the articles never go out of date... and the news in them are usually pretty lame anyway...

I'll check out the library.
So far, many magazines (guitar magazine that I've seen) just seem to be trying to sell me things

I'm not from a rich family, and I'm not from a poor family;
but like everyone else, I save money as much as possible, I spend the minimal amount;
Apart from camera, guitar and computer (and uni books and transportation costs), I don't spend (well there is nothing apart from all that anyway)

You haven't read any yet know who they are aimed at?
I wouldn't mind reading through some of those, there's always something to learn.
