New Gear / More Bugs
#1

I recently purchased a new flash thanks to some steering in the right direction from Pete.. (Sigma EF 500 ST).
And yesterday I recieved some extension rings which I found on Ebay...
Its been fun combining these and experimenting... I already find the rings more useful than a teleconverter (for macro subjects anyway). I've found the teleconverters cause alot more loss of light.
Anyway just wanted to share these..

You've got amazing detail in these shots. The enlargement is unbelievable. The logical next step would be a microscope... Smile

Thanks for the comments. This set up seems to work best when I set the focus about 4cm from the lens.
Its a little bit hit and miss but its been addictive...
