Hi Everyone!
Thanks for having me onboard I thought, since I just joined, I should be a sport and introduce myself. My name is Lace (I'm a guy though it's not obvious by the name, hehe). I'm 24 years old, self-employed working from home, engaged to a beautiful, wonderful woman...and just really got into photography recently. I bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-H1 last month and am LOVING it. However, this is my first time with anything other than a regular point and shoot camera so erm....still not really learning how to use the manual settings and the user manual is about as useful as wet toilet paper, hehe. Anyone have this particular camera that wouldn't mind being a bit of a tutor? *begs nicely*
I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's photos posted here so far and I already feel I've learned a lot of great things in just the last few hours. I'm so excited to meet all of you and learn even more. What a great place I stumbled onto!

Hi!

) and I'm from Finland. A student at Tampere Polytechnic University, Computer Science/Networking. Have been shooting crappy digitals for some years now. This summer I bought a Canon 350D though and have been loving it ever since! I have a Sigma 28-70 f1.8 EX and for longer shots the Canon 75-300mm III, and of course the kit-lense is lying around somewhere in my flat..
